GNSTTC has been established in the fond memory of Lt. Shri Gaureshwar Narayan Singh, who himself was a teacher. GNSTTC is a part of education facilities provided by Kandhdeo Narayan Singh alias
Bhikhari Babu Educational Trust. The trust has also established a Senior Secondary School adjacent to GNSTTC.

College is situated at Chandragarh, a historical place near Nabinagar. That is well connected with rail and train. Two major thermal power plants is commissioned in Nabinager. Nabinagar also has a constituent degree college of Magadh University,DAV Public School and many senior secondary school
