Die Anlegestelle der Fähre ist von SANAA gestaltet. Das Chichu Museum von Tadao Ando präsentiert auf unübertreffliche Weise Werke von Walter De Maria, James Turrell und Claude Monet. Weitere meditative Bauten von Ando zeigen Arbeiten von Jackson Pollock, Cy Twombly, Bruce Nauman, Richard Long oder David Hockney. Sorgfältig restaurierte, traditionelle japanische Gebäude werden für Kunstprojekte genutzt, etwa für ungewöhnliche Installationen von Hiroshi Sugimoto. Beim Gang über die Insel entdeckt man erstaunliche Land Art wie das Cultural Melting Bath von Cai Guo-Qiang oder einen mannshohen Kürbis von Yayoi Kusama. What a great watch! There are so many choices out there (even when you filter out a large portion of those you are clearly not interested in :-). Know what you like, use discipline with your cash, be logical, but then even after all that, you will eventually just have to let the right brain kick in and choose based on creativity and intuition. I needed a watch, and wanted a decent one, that looked good. This does all of that in style.
It's not too big, its fairly waterproof, easy to read with clean lines. I wanted lume...
The textured face has an interesting effect, like looking out a window at late dusk.
Don't buy too many things, but when you do be wise. Even the Dalai Lama likes good watches.
