Die „Vieilles Vignes" aus Morey-Saint-Denis sind eine Visitenkarte der Domaine Hubert Lignier — ein Premier-Cru-Wein von alten Reben, der die Klasse dieser Gemeinde im Herzen der Côte de Nuits auf den Punkt bringt. Alte Stöcke, kleine Erträge, große Tiefe.

Der Pinot Noir wurzelt tief in kalksteinreichen Premier-Cru-Böden, wird von Hand gelesen und traditionell mit einem Teil Ganztrauben vergoren. Der lange Holzfassausbau verleiht Struktur, ohne die Frucht zu überdecken.

Im Glas tiefes Rubinrot, in der Nase dunkle Kirsche, Waldboden, Veilchen und edle Gewürze. Am Gaumen dicht und seidig zugleich, mit feinkörnigem Tannin, mineralischer Tiefe und beeindruckender Länge.
