Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft sind hier unmittelbar mit einem Gegenstand, einem Gebäude oder einem Ort verknüpft. Zwiener arbeitet bewusst mit diesen objekt- oder ortsspezifischen Aspekten, die beinahe aus der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung entschwunden sind und somit kulturell unsichtbar erscheinen. Ihnen eine neue, aber temporäre Wahrnehmung zu verleihen und für die Allgemeinheit sichtbarer zu machen, ist sein zentrales künstlerisches Anliegen.

Christof Zwiener *1972 ist bildender Künstler und arbeitet mit berlinspezifischen Aspekten des öffentlichen Raumes wie Transformation, Verdrängung, Verdichtung und Gentrifizierung. Mehrere künstlerische Arbeiten sind zu den Themen entstanden, sowie temporäre Projekte bzw. Inititativen, an denen seit 2013 bereits 120 Künstler*innen mitgearbeitet haben. Die Räume, Orte oder Nischen, die für das jeweilige Projekt über eine Recherche entdeckt und ausgewählt werden, sind fast völlig aus der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung verschwunden und scheinen kulturell unsichtbar geworden zu sein. Christof Zwiener studierte Kunst und Interdisziplinäre Bildhauerei an der HBK Braunschweig.

This handy little tool holds my soap and exfoliates my skin gently.
I bought this as a bag for my new shampoo bar so it'll last longer. This bag generates a nice lather, hangs off my shower caddy, and allows the bar to dry between uses. Makes shampoo bars much more convenient. The texture of the pouch remains scratchy after 3 or 4 uses so far but it produces a good amount of lather in combination with my bar soap. Hoping it softens up with use. Very good for exfoliating! The bag does have a canvas scent to it, but once you add water and lather up the soap inside it disappears. I love this bag.
