Herkunft: Peru, Ekuador
Standort: epiphytisch in den in östlichen Anden als kletternder, einblättriger Epiphyt in feuchten Bergwäldern, hoch oben auf dicken Ästen in Höhenlagen von 400 bis 1220 Metern über Meereshöhe.
Anmerkungen: Cattleya iricolor ist eine sehr selten zu findende Cattleya Naturform, die zwar einblättrig ist, aber nicht in die Cattleya labiata Gruppe gehört. Die Blüten sind 7-10cm groß, zahlreich (bis 10st.) und mit einer Blühdauer von 2-3 Wochen von mittlerer Haltbarkeit. In der Ruhephase im Winter die Art reichlich sprühen und schnell abtrocknen lassen, in dieser Zeit nicht mehr gießen. Die offenen Blüten sind sehr farbprächtig, in der Lippe findet man alle Farben des Regenbogens wieder.

I loved that she fought for herself and tried to stand up for what she believed and her friends, rather than just giving in. Even though there were predictable portions of the story, I was still invested enough not to care. I’m curious what will happen in book 2. The spice level is mild, but maybe it will get spicier?? The only reason I gave the story four stars was because the world building in the beginning of the story was a bit confusing. I could’ve used a bit more explanation. Overall - I recommend to anyone who loves a story about lovers triangles & a FMC who struggles with an overwhelming power.

This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.
