Nase und Gaumen:
Ein klarer und frischer Wein, saftig und würzig. In der Nase Veilchen und Kirschblüten, Sauerkirschen, Cranberrys und Granatäpfeln, etwas Unterholz und Pferdesattel in Verbindung mit Anis und Eisen.

Am Gaumen verbinden sich kühle und warme Elemente. Reife Süßkirschen und Pflaumen gefolgt von Sauerkirschen, roten Beeren, etwas Cassis, zerstoßenem Stein, Kräutern und Pfeffer. Eine lebendige Säure und Mineralität, feine Gerbstoffstruktur und eine leicht laktische Note.

Die Reben wachsen auf Lehm- und Ton-Böden (franz. argile) in der Nähe von Mont Blanc im Savoyer Alpenvorland Gamays. Ein Cuvée aus 80 % Gamay und einer lokalen Sorte Persan. Die Reben stehen in terrassierten Weinbergen in den Coteaux de Saint-Pierre-de-Soucy et Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte auf Böden, die sowohl Lehm und Kalk als auch
schieferhaltigen Mergel aufweisen. Gepflanzt 2008 und 2009 und von Beginn an ökologisch und mittlerweile auch biodynamisch bewirtschaftet.

Die Trauben werden samt Rappen spontan über drei Wochen hinweg bei kühlen Temperaturen vergoren und nach der malolaktischen Gärung über neun Monate im Holzfuder ausgebaut.
