McKusick does a good job of weaving together personal experiences, interactions with others and published scientific picture to give a complete view about how energy flows through us in much different ways then we are aware of or that we allow ourselves to investigate and explore. She has put in years to learn more about electricity, the connection of the body with sound and how pain can be an indicator of more than your physical body. Anyone with an open mind, even someone like me who's not a Deepak Chopra type of person, will take things away from this and will learn more about something they haven't heard about before reading this book. Good overall read!
