Engineered to deliver deeper extension and higher output than the PMC8 SUB, it provides powerful, ultra-controlled low-frequency reproduction down to 25Hz, making it ideal for high-resolution monitoring systems. Equipped with twin 8-inch bass drivers powered by dual 400W high-efficiency Class-D amplifiers, the 8-2 SUB delivers exceptional dynamic range, accuracy, and headroom. PMC’s proprietary Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) bass-loading technology ensures tight, distortion-free bass with outstanding transient response. Built on PMC’s proven DSP platform, the 8-2 Subwoofer offers extensive system tuning via rear-panel controls or LAN-based SoundAlign™ software, including crossover filters, EQ, delay, phase alignment, and protection. With analog and AES3 digital I/O, it integrates seamlessly into stereo, surround, and immersive audio systems. Available in left- or right-handed cabinet versions, the PMC 8-2 SUB can operate as a standalone subwoofer or as an Extended Bass Delivery (XBD) module when paired with PMC 6-2 or 8-2 monitors for maximum system performance.
