Wildlife officials eventually brought him down late last year, and we secured a panel from this giant. Then it vanished into a different kind of wilderness: nearly 10 months stuck in customs while CITES inspectors combed through every detail.

Today it’s official. It cleared. The Red Ghost is here.

We start with full-grain hides—meaning the strongest, outermost layer of the cowhide, left uncorrected and untouched. No sanding. No coating. Just raw strength and natural character.

It’s tanned the old-fashioned way: using vegetable tannins—not harsh chemicals. This traditional process uses tree bark and natural extracts to preserve the leather, giving it a rich feel, an earthy aroma, and a patina that tells your story over time.
