یقین نہیں آتا کہ ایسے دلچسپ کتب کے مصنفین سے بھی ہمارا کسی طرح ربط ہوسکتا ہے۔ یہ ذیل میں سر ارشد محمود صاحب کی تصنیف " تصورِ خدا" ہے۔ جسے میں دوسری دفعہ مطالعہ کررہا ہوں۔ ایک چھوٹی سی کتاب ہے پر موضوع، اسلوب و مواد کے لحاظ سے بالکل ہی منفرد و باکمال۔

"تصورِ خدا" جیسا کہ کتاب کی ٹائٹل سے ظاہر ہے، کتنی نازک و مشکل موضوع پہ لکھی گئی ہے۔ ایک ایسی گتھی جو روزِ اول سے انسانیت کو فکرمند کی ہوئی ہے۔ جس کے ساتھ انسان کا ازل سے تعلق رہا ہو، کو زیرِ قرطاس لانا کوئی سہل کام نہیں۔ چنانچہ موصوف کا اس موضوع پہ قلم اٹھانا واقعی قابلِ قدر کارنامہ ہے۔

موضوع چونکہ مابعد الطبیعات سے علاقہ رکھتی ہے۔ اور یوں ہر ایک "آزاد ذہن" رکھنے والا اسے موضوعی طور پہ ہی ڈیل کرتا ہے۔ لہذا اس کتاب کو پڑھ کہ آپ تاریخ کے عظیم دماغوں کے "خداوں" سے واقفیت حاصل کریں گے۔ ایک "عام مذہبی کا خدا، صوفی کا خدا، شاعر کا خدا، فلسفی کا خدا وغیرہ وغیرہ۔

المختصر "سوچنے اور جاننے کی جستجو رکھنے والوں" کیلئے ایک مفید کتاب ہے۔

دوم یہ اس مذکورہ معمہ کا کوئی حتمی حل بالکل بھی نہیں۔ لہذا اصولاً بھی اسے پڑھ کے ڈائریکٹ کسی نتیجہ پہ پہنچ جانا درست نہیں۔

بہرحال ہمیں فخر ہیکہ مصنف محترم ہماری فہرستِ احباب میں شامل ہے۔ اور اس کتاب کے علاوہ چار اور کتب کے مصنف بھی ہے۔ جن میں "تعلیم اور ہماری قومی الجھنیں" نمایاں ہے۔ جو کہ تاحال پڑھی ہوئی نہیں ہے پر انشاء اللہ چند سرگرمیاں انجام دے کے پہلی فرصت میں پڑھنے کا ارادہ ہے۔

سر کیلئے سلامتی۔۔ یوں ہی سدا اپنی علم سے ہمیں فیضیاب کرتے رہیں۔
