Element Glo Glow in the Dark Mosaics are innovative, hand-made works of art that can be installed within various surfaces, including pools and sidewalks. By day, they provide a colorful contrast to the surface they are installed in and, by night, glow in the dark to seem as though they are floating. Made proudly in the USA!

How to keep your mosaics bright

Glow in the dark mosaics are NOT electric and NOT solar-powered. Each mosaic tile is powered by phosphorescent (glow) particles that charge by light shining on them. With no light to charge the mosaic(s), they slowly lose their brightness over up to 12 hours. To charge your mosaics to 100%, shine a UV light on your mosaic(s), and they will return to 100% brightness within 30 seconds. For the best effect, consider installing NUVO-Glo UV Lighting in your pool to keep your mosaics at 100% brightness at all times. Does it's purpose with style
We used these in our pantry and dining room for shelves and they turned out well. The only reason they are hard to install is because of the design (which is very nice) so it is worth it. It just takes time when you you are hanging the shelves, to do it correctly. While they can hold a lot, we realized that a bunch of cans or jars cannot go on these shelves. Luckily we had another option for heavy items (Example: We had about 40ish pounds of cans/jars on a 1x12 board that is 33 inches long with 2 of these brackets...and it was too much). If you do not need to hold a lot of weight, these shelves are a for sure, for the price and quality. If you NEED they for something heavy, then you probably will have to go with something more practical from a hardware store. We LOVE them for our pantry!
