LP version. Glossy, printed gatefold sleeve; offset (matte) paper inner sleeve; includes booklet; Edition of 500. Upset The Rhythm present a reissue of Normil Hawaiians' What's Going On?, originally released in 1984. To Normil Hawaiians, getting out of lockstep with Thatcherism seemed imperative. Adding to an overriding sense of anxiety, close friend and band associate Martin Pawson took his life in July 1983. Following More Wealth Than Money, released on Illuminated Records in 1982, there was an impetus to make good on hard won achievements. Rehearsal and writing sessions resumed in the early months of 1983 at Intergalactic Arts Studios. IGA was a ramshackle, semi-residential rehearsal space. Illuminated Records had been sending artists to Foel Studios in Powys, Wales for years, and it had become a kind of refuge for the Hawaiians. Studio owner/manager Dave Anderson (Hawkwind/Amon Düül II) was welcoming, unruffled, and accommodating when around a dozen band members, friends, and family emerged from the "mini-peace convoy" of vehicles into the hazy, pastoral care of the warm, Welsh countryside. Whereas More Wealth Than Money had evolved in the recording studio, What's Going On began to develop as a more pre-meditated, albeit piecemeal work. "Quiet Village" and the unreleased "Outpost" had already been finished at Foel in February 1983. Recording Engineer Brian Snelling recalls how the Hawaiians approach to making the album was unconventional and spontaneous, reveling in chance and openness. Rehearsal tapes from IGA were played along to, and improvisations allowed to develop, with further layers of sound accreting (as can be heard on "Big Lies"). "Free Tibet" was created by the band playing together exploratively with Snelling waiting to hit "Record" until he heard that something interesting was coalescing. He recalls the sessions being initially unorthodox, but eventually settling into a friendly, productive, and very familial affair. Mixed tapes were then taken by Dave Andersen and Guy Smith to Charly Records' editing studio in London. Here they spliced the recordings into an irregular yet coherent, flowing work. Final masters were then EQ'd and cut by Graeme Durham at the newly opened Exchange Mastering Studios in Camden. And then nothing happened. Unbeknownst to the band, Illuminated Records were getting into deep financial problems. The label gave the band 250 copies, but the record shops wouldn't touch them - the company had been blacklisted. This intricate, challenging and engaging work had been failed by poor circumstance.

Whish it was brighter
Color: White
It is ok, but I thought it would illuminate better.
It provided some light right underneath, but it does not open up more lighting around. It barely expends to the whole length of the table.

My favorite pimple patches
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
I've tried the competitor Mighty Patches and a couple other pimple patches. These are my favorite because they stay on the best and do the best job of healing/absorbing. The Microcrystal Spot Cover actually hurts a little when you put it on from the little spikes... but I love that because I feel like it's actually doing something! I wish they were a little more affordable.

Expensive but effective
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
This isn’t a miracle cure for acne, but it has proven beneficial for reducing redness and shortening healing time, in part because of how it works and also just as a barrier to prevent picking. Product does what the packaging says it will do. These dots are impressively thin. As the fluid is drawn into the patch, it creates a more pronounced white bump, but it is still thinner than typical extra thin hydrocolloid dressings.
If you’re planning to walk around and be seen while wearing acne patches, these are a great option, even if they are expensive. If you’re going to be primarily wearing patches while you sleep and are at a place in your life where you just don’t care how it looks as long as it works, shop around and cut a patch to size from a large (4”x4” or so) hydrocolloid dressing, and it will do the job just as well.

Worked well, comfortable.
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
These patches adhere fairly well to my chin, over a very large cystic pimple. I admit, the microneedle patches I used before caving and picking were the Kill brand, not Rael. I figured I would buy both on the off chance I ised all the Kill stickers (whose price tag is honestly ridiculous). After the zit popped though, I found this brand to be preferrable to my usual HERO staple for a number of reasons:
1) While the hero patches are bigger and thicker, this brand was more comfortable to wear long term. As I was treating during my work day, I felt more confident with these thin, flexible sheets than with other brands. They're thinner, but seem to work just as well and are more comfortable.
2) They're practically invisible on my face. Now, it's not really possible to make these things disappear entirely. Because they're thinner, they do wrinkle some when I speak and tend to stretch on the skin. I will say that this recurring zit does live on my chin, so there may be more movement and wear as a result.
3) I feel less inclined to change them early. Because they wear so well, this brand was much less noticable on my face. I couldn't feel it and in fact, forgot it was there until I took a bathroom break. That made it easier to focus on getting work done rather than worrying about how it felt or looked. I did wear a tiny bit of concealer over these and no one seemed to notice.
Overall, pretty good product.

Magic Spots make your acne..DISAPPEAR!
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
I like this product. I was nervous cause I am allergic to everything. However I got an ingrown pimple right under my nose. It hurt like a mother. So I bought these in hopes it would eat it off my face and I was pleasantly surprised. I put the one that has the crystals under my nose overnight. This morning it ate all the sebum around it and left a weak white head. When I removed the white head, I had a pretty decent hole under my nose. I put a dot from the pink box on it after disinfecting it and drying it off in hopes it will keep it protected while I wear a mask at work. I also had one in pink box on the side of my face in hopes of helping a ragged acne that I had scratched of the scab in my sleep the night before. So it was pretty rough skin. I slapped the dot from the pink box over night as well and my skin is soft. Its still a little red from where it was but its not raised and it doesn't hurt. These are pretty awesome. The adhesion sticks all night did not move ONCE. It was almost like removing a bandaid. They stretch well and fit over most acne spots and they are thick enough to not tear easy and hold all the gross that comes out of your face. I had no real expectations of the product because I wasn't sure how this face magic worked but it definitely does the trick when you have painful ingrown and just stubborn acne spots.
