Organic Peppermint Tea
Our Organic Peppermint Tea is grown in eastern Washington State. We use the Autumn harvest for more pungency and a higher volatile oil count. This herbal tea will take your breath away and may bring a tear to your eye.

The difference between Peppermint and Spearmint is the presence of menthol, which creates a cooling sensation in your mouth or on your skin.
Our Organic Peppermint Tea is typically on our Tea Menu at the Selby House Cafe at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida.
A SOILON tea sachet is an option for this tea.
Made from corn starch, SOILON is biodegradable, though home-composters should note that high heat is required to break down SOILON tea sachets completely, as found in commercial composting operations.
20 to 25 cups of tea can be made from 2 oz of loose-leaf tea. We also suggest steeping our Organic Peppermint Tea multiple times for even more cups of great tea.

Brewing Instructions for Organic Peppermint Tea
Steep this herbal tea multiple times. Loose-leaf teas have far more flavor than traditional tea bags due to their superior quality and freshness. Tea strength is a personal decision. Please experiment to determine your preferences.
Use boiling water and allow your tea to steep as little as 3 minutes or as much as 10 minutes. For each of the following steeps, use boiling water and double the steep time; if you do not want to drink all the tea, store it in the fridge for wonderful iced tea.
