Use this Rancilio water softener with your Rancilio Silvia M V5 espresso machine or Epoca ST1 to reduce those damaging minerals from your hard water. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security with those filters on the end of your sink or inside your refrigerator; they only remove chlorine and other taste-altering impurities. Unlike other kinds of filters, you only have to buy the Rancilio water softener once a year if recharged regularly with a saturated saline solution. Descaling will still be necessary and should be scheduled based on the frequency of use and the hardness of the raw water supply.

Compatibility

The Rancilio Water Softener is designed to work with the Rancilio Silvia and Epoca ST1 espresso machines. This espresso in tank water softener will also work with any espresso machine that has a water tank AND draws the water out of that tank with a "drop-in" hose.
