It is fitted with a Wilwood master cylinder and a Black Out adjustable proportioning valve. This kit is powered by hydraulic line pressure from the power steering pump. Firewall and valve cover clearance is equivalent to a 7" diameter vacuum booster. The firewall mounting is modified for 67 69 Chevy Camaro

Our Hydropower hydraulic brake assist power booster fits 1967-69 Chevy Camaro and generates up to 1800psi of line pressure to the brake calipers. It is fitted with a Wilwood master cylinder and a Black Out adjustable proportioning valve. This kit is powered by hydraulic line pressure from the power steering pump. Firewall and valve cover clearance is equivalent to a 7" diameter vacuum booster. The firewall mounting is modified for 67-69 Chevy Camaro applications.
The average power steering pump puts out from 800psi to 1400psi line pressure. The Hydropower® uses this to convert to pressure to apply against the master cylinder. This greatly improves stopping performance and driver feedback. These hydraulic power boosters can be easily installed on an existing vacuum booster vehicle or used to convert a manual brake setup to power with ordinary hand tools and average mechanical ability.

Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.
