venture of the infinite man was Neruda's third book, published in 1926, two years after his widely celebrated Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair. In a stark stylistic departure from the love poems, Neruda composed an epic poem in 15 cantos, discarding rhyme, meter, punctuation and capitalization in what he described as an attempt to better capture the voice of the subconsious. His readers were not prepared for this experiment, and decades after its publication, Neruda lamented that "one of the most important books of my poetry" remained woefully neglected and virtually unknown.

Neruda considered venture essential to his evolution: "Within its smallness and minimal expression, more than most of my works, it claimed, it secured, the path that I had to follow." Its long-overdue translation into English is cause for celebration

"Experimental, obscure, timeless, essential, venture of the infinite man, published two years after his famous Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair, set Pablo Neruda on his course toward becoming the greatest poet in the history of the Spanish language. Its publication in English is a historic event, above all today, above all in this moment, above all, now."--Ra l Zurita, author of Antepara so

"In his early twenties and after the enormous success of Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair, Neruda surprised everyone by changing aesthetic gears in this book that was at once innovative and emblematic. The effort was part of what would ultimately become his ceaseless embrace of change as the sine qua non of style. Jessica Powell does wonders rendering these cantos for the first time into English, filling in a gap his legion of admirers will be thankful for. This isn't only an unseen Neruda but an unforeseen one too."--Ilan Stavans, editor of The Poetry of Pablo Neruda

"What an act of generosity this book is. Eisner's introduction contextualizes and informs precisely as needed, and Jessica Powell's translation achieves astonishing beauty and refreshing truth. She has listened deeply to Neruda's text."--Katherine Silver, translator

"Jessica Powell is the 'distant light that illuminates the fruit' of venture of the infinite man, the twenty-two year old Pablo Neruda's untranslated third book. One part quest and one part inner map, in Powell's hands the delicious and strange language of the original dances effortlessly in English. Readers can now experience the moment Neruda evolved from being only a brilliant singer of love poems into a maker of rich, stunning worlds. This book is a treasure."--Tom s Q. Mor n, author of Patient Zero

"This book has the fascination of being Neruda becoming Neruda. It's the brilliant young poet who made himself famous at nineteen and twenty with Twenty Love Poems, beginning to absorb the lessons of the new surrealism and making his way to the world poet he would become in Residence on Earth. So it is a leap into the imagination of one of the crucial poets of the twentieth century as he is feeling his way."--Robert Hass, former U.S. Poet Laureate

Magsafe car mount for a Tesla screen that is easy to adjust and holds the phone very well
Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder, Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder
I installed this mount on my 2018 Tesla Model 3 main display and it was easy to install - just loosen the wheels on the top and side clamp, put it in place and then tighten the clamps back down. There is a ball mount on the back which tightens as well that allows you to position and angle the phone mount so you can tilt it up or down or towards the driver. You can adjust the phone on the mount to where you want it - although the bar that holds the phone will hit the clamps in two spots so there are a couple of positions that don't work due to the design, but overall you can more or less put the phone where you want and and then tilt it any which way to you. The magnet connection is very firm but the phone also detaches relatively easily. The clamps so far are holding well on the screen. I really don't have a lot of complaints - except maybe that there's a couple of positions that don't work. It works well, installs quickly and easily and seems to hold well in use. I've had no problems so ar.

Mostly reliable to use
Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder
It's nice to use in my car to separate out different needs like looking up a specific route while moving and the navigation is going somewhere. The magnet is pretty strong and haven't had any issues with that. However, if you dont put it in the corner of the screen to secure it at a right angle, the flat way to secure it in the middle of the top edge is not reliable at all. The weight of the phone and the angle of the mount makes it really easy to fall off the screen no matter how tight you secure it down. Fell at least a handful of times. Just put it at the corners and you'll be just fine.

Does not fit the Cybertruck. Will slip off due to angled backplate.
Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder, Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder
It does not fit the Cybertruck well. Due to the angled monitor back, it will slide off. Check the video of what I mean. It is not flat like the Model 3 or Ys. The mount should work fine on the Model 3 and Model Y and Newer Model S and X, but not on the Cybertruck and older vertical screen Model S and X. The Magsafe that I received must of been broken. It completely fell apart. Everytime I put on phone on it, the Magsafe will completely come off stuck to my phone.

Looks good, installs easily but the arm jitters on the road
Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder, Style: MagSafe Car Phone Holder
Super easy and intuitive to install on my Tesla model 3. Once installed, I think it will probably hold position indefinitely. You can install it so that it is in a very convenient position. my right hand index finger was able to touch the screen of my phone while maintaining contact with the handle, so that should give you an idea. The reason I took 2 stars off is the way the goose neck jitters when driving. I think perhaps it is too thin. I drove on normal paved road, and the shakes were noticeable. It didn’t fall off at any point, but it made me nervous that it might. The magnet didn’t feel that strong either. A lot of people own phones larger and heavier than mine (iPhone 12 mini), so I’m reluctant to recommend.
