This performance cat-back exhaust system is constructed out of 3" into dual 2-1/4" mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing and incorporates a mitered merge to evenly distribute exhaust gases resulting in added horsepower and torque. In testing, this system resulted in gains up to +14 horsepower and +22 lbs. x ft. of torque verified by our in house dyno. This cat-back exhaust utilizes dual high-flow 304 stainless steel mufflers to improve performance across the power band while maintaining an aggressive sound. To finish off the exhaust are quad, 304 stainless steel, high-luster, polished 3-1/2" diameter tips. The tips come with laser-etched Takeda logos for an aggressive style. This unit is 100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability and is a direct bolt-on system that requires no modifications. Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
