Pro Circuit – Platinum Pipe (Yamaha)

The Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe gives your Yamaha that sharp, responsive two-stroke feel everyone’s chasing — the kind that makes the bike pull harder and sound cleaner without needing constant upkeep. It’s based on the same design as Pro Circuit’s race-proven Works Pipe but adds a tough nickel-plated finish that fights off rust, dings, and weather. You get the same boost in performance, just with way more durability.

Each pipe starts with high-quality AKDQ carbon steel that’s stamped, hand-welded, and shaped to make exhaust flow as smooth as possible. The reinforced mounting brackets and stinger keep it tight and secure even when you’re hammering through rough terrain. And that nickel plating? It’s not just for looks — it makes the pipe last up to ten times longer than a raw steel version.

Why We Like It:
It gives your Yamaha that crisp, race-style powerband that makes riding more fun. The motor feels livelier everywhere, and the pipe keeps its clean look no matter how many muddy motos you run.

Why It’ll Work for You:
This pipe makes your bike breathe easier, which means better throttle response, smoother power, and more pull through every gear. The nickel finish protects it from rust and makes cleanup quick and easy. You don’t need to mess with constant maintenance — just bolt it on and enjoy the stronger, smoother power every time you ride.

Variants / Options:
Fits a wide range of Yamaha two-stroke models. Direct bolt-on replacement for stock or Works-style pipes.

Another fine Benchmark Atlas.
Format: Spiral-bound
We travel a lot and own 6 benchmark atlases now. They're the finest on the market and include camping and fishing information and show the forest service and other backroads. What's special about the British Columbia atlas is that it is spiral bound. I just replaced my Oregon atlas after 20 years because the cover had ripped up and torn off and the pages were falling out. I hope they will all be spiral bound from now on.

I love these maps and own quite a few. Easy to use, big picture or more detailed sections. Very useful despite google maps.

Another good Benchmark Atlas
Format: Spiral-bound
We camp frequently and own all of the Benchmark Atlases. Although, this is different due to Canadian laws, we are excited to try it out! Very detailed with information, such as small campgrounds and identifying land ownership (Forest services or BLM)

Memories of the Camino
Format: Paperback
First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.
