Redouté's famous botanical paintings were was published in Paris in early XIX century and were dedicated to the Princesses Louise and Marie d'Orléans. Original prints are very rare and can only appear on high-level auctions. Several reprints were made throughout the centuries using different designs, papers and printing techniques.
