The short dark spikes with elongated burgundy calyxes sporting deep purple two lipped tubular flowers bloom from late spring into fall if dead headed. Flowers best in full sun and moist well drained soils. Drought tolerant. The Vista series has improved heat performance and will continue to flower strongly in high summer heat. Type:
