After retiring from the Jamaican police force, Arthur Duke Reid established his Treasure Isle liquor store and Trojan sound system in Pink Lane, Kingston, and was crowned the undisputed King of Sound and Blues in 1956, '57, and '58. The Duke then moved into record production, and, after relocating Treasure Isle to 33 Bond Street, he built a recording studio above the store in 1966. According to the musicians and singers involved, the wooden construction of the Treasure Isle recording studio gave the music a distinctive warmth and richness, and with resident engineer Byron Baron/Smithy Smith at the controls, the sound of a Bond Street recording was immediately recognizable. But the Studio One sound is different to the Treasure Isle sound! The people have to know... -Bunny Striker Lee. A glittering selection of Striker's Treasure Isle recordings are featured on this compilation; sit back and enjoy the set. Really nice, husband loves them!

Nice and soft. These feel like a good hotel pillow. Just got them for my husband as he likes a "down alternative" pillow whereas I like something a bit firmer. He said he really loves them. Not sure if they will flatten with time. I'm sure they will like most every pillow out there. But so far so good.

The best blanket I’ve owned!

The first king size comforter to actually fit my king size bed properly. All of my previous comforters were too short/not wide enough. I ordered the oversized king and it’s the best fit I’ve ever seen. It’s lightweight enough for summer but still heavy enough to be warm in the winter. You can feel the quality in this blanket. And it comes with a carrying bag as well!

It’s a great purchase

I purchased this on a whim. I’m glad I did! It is the right weight and provides the warmth I crave at night. Most importantly it is quiet. My old down made a crinkly sound when moving which disturbed my sleep. This one thank God, does nothing of the sort.
