- Please note: When using Skunk2 Titanium Retainers on 2004 and newer K-series engines, pre-2004 keepers (cotters) must be used (Honda P/N 14781-PR7-A01). Pre-2004 keepers can be identified by the absence of marks along the top edge (2004 and newer keepers feature laser-etched marks along the top edge). Use of improper retainers and/or keepers may result in potential engine damage.
Vehicle & engine applications: 02-06 RSX Type-S (K20A2/Z1), 02-06 RSX Base (K20A3), 04-08 TSX (K24A2), 02-05 Civic Si (K20A3), 06-11 Civic Si (K20Z3).
Note: K-series engines with single valve spring valvetrain must upgrade to dual valve spring valvetrain and keepers in order to use these retainers.
