HERE LIES MAN took the music world by storm in 2017 with their self-titled debut positing the intriguing hypothesis: What if Black Sabbath played Afrobeat? Since that time, they have expanded and expounded upon their sound and ideas of heavy riff rock and psych within the ancient rhythmic formula of the clave. The L.A. based band comprised of Antibalas members have toured relentlessly over the past two years, while also releasing a second album, You Will Know Nothing and an EP, Animal Noises, both in 2018. No Ground to Walk Upon is their third album. It continues with an ongoing concept of playing a soundtrack to an imaginary movie, with each song being a scene. Rough Trade named HERE LIES MAN in their prestigious Top 10 Albums of 2017. BBC 6 and Classic Rock Magazine deemed it among the year's best, as well as countless other press outlets singing it's praises. 2018's You Will Know Nothing furthered the band's reputation for genre-smashing rhythmic experimentation, topping many year-end lists as well as earning features from countless metal and indie rock outlets, plus cover stories in weekly papers. This latest album is the next step in the band's rapid ascent to what is bound to be influential upon riff-based rock."We're very conscious of how the rhythms service the riffs," explains founder and vocalist / guitarist / multi-instrumentalist Marcos Garcia (who also plays guitar in Antibalas) of the band's sound. "Tony Iommi's (Black Sabbath) innovation was to make the riff the organizing principle of a song. We are taking that same approach but employing a different organizing principle: For Iommi it was the blues, for us it comes directly from Africa."

An average table support.
These table legs are made of "jointed", threaded, 3/4inch steel pipes and it is imperative that they are assembled correctly and evenly; if not, the table will be wobbly and unstable. Need to ensure that the joints are fully tight. The assembly instructions are vague, so you may face some frustration during assembly if you're not too mechanically inclined. It is possible to modify the design of the legs to meet your specific needs, but you may need to purchase additional 3/4 inch piping and couplings at your local plumbing store. Good luck!

A good idea that didn't work out
The pieces are not labeled at all, the paint on the threads makes it difficult to get a good tight fit between the pieces, and the way the pipes are screwed together there are two opposing corners that always bow in an make it look like it's going to fall in. It's also really difficult to make level.
I really wanted to like this because it fit EXACTLY what I wanted to use it for, but I just can't trust it long term which is why I'm giving it 2 stars.

Looks great & saves space

I couldn't be happier with the look and the space it's saving me. It came very well packaged, even with corner guards on the wood shelfs. It was very easy to assemble and attach to the end of my pantry in the kitchen. That space was just going to waste. The ladder shelf fit perfect and looks great. I love the color and texture of the wood grain, it really goes well with the black metal rail. It will be a little wobbly until you get it screwed down to the wall but after that, it's good and sturdy. The instructions were easy enough to read but I still found a couple of parts I didn't use and wondered what they were for? The parts do come numbered but only on the packaging? Not on the part itself which would have been more helpful to some extent. So just keep it all together with it's packaging and you'll have no problems. Very happy with purchase.
