Stagg straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery Antique Collection is a robust and potent Kentucky straight whiskey that was distilled in the Spring of 2004 and released in the Fall of 2019. It is an uncut and unfiltered whiskey that is blended from a mash bill consisting of undisclosed amounts of distiller's grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn, rye, and malted barley from North Dakota. The 2019 George T. Stagg whiskey is double distilled in BTD beer stills to a mature barrel strength of 116.9 proof. It has been aged for over 15 years in new white oak #4 char barrels, and it is highly sought-after. The nose is infused with caramelized cherries and mint leaves seasoned with smoke, while the palate offers flavors of vanilla and cherries over warm oak and soft floral undertones.
