LA's Smokescreens began as a couple of pals (Chris Rosi from Plateaus, Corey Cunningham from Terry Malts) paying tribute to the seminal 80s sounds of New Zealand's Flying Nun label and has grown to be so much more. Since their self-titled 2017 the band has expanded to a four piece and honed their tunes with constant SoCal gigging. Their new album "Used To Yesterday" continues Smokescreen's zeal for New Zealand pop but also incorporates influences from the more melodic side of Messthetics-era DIY pop and expands into classic indie pop territory, a natural fit for the Slumberland Records roster. From the NZ-meets-Athens GA first single "The Lost Song" through the 12-string driven "Waiting For The Summer" to the Paisley Underground-tinged closer "Falling Down," Smokescreens really excel in the quality of their songwriting and their ability to incorporate a disparate set of influences while still forging their own sound and identity.1. Time saver!

I love these! They save so much time by making cleanup easy. The real messy ones just throw away, the not so messy ones go in dishwasher easy. They are so much better than lifting heavy pans out of the dishwasher. Also good for freezing meals then go right into oven! Thanks for such a good price on a helpful product!

We try to keep these in the house. They are REALLY nicely sized and work great for soups. They are AWESOME for soups and the only disposable plates I feel comfy using for large stews and such. Makes cleaning easy because I don't HAVE TO CLEAN! They are a bit more expensive than otherd disposable plates, but they are worth it. Pretty heavy duty plates that are thick and great for heavier foods. <3

I’ve been using the Dixie Ultra Extra Large Compostable Paper Bowls, and I can honestly say I absolutely love them! They’re sturdy, deep, and hold generous portions, perfect for everything from hearty soups and pasta to big salads or even snacks for movie night.
