Chrysanthos Fantasy Glazes are a premium range of lead-free earthenware / low fire special effects glazes. Designed to add an element of surprise to your ceramics experience, they contain coloured crystals that melt into the glaze when fired. The exciting part is the results are never identical!

• Firing range between Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 04 (1,060°C)
  
  
• Best applied on bisque that has been fired between cone 04 (1,060°C) and cone 03 (1,101°C) - slightly higher than the glaze temperature.
  
  
• Apply 2-3 coats with a fan brush. Ensure each coat is dry before applying subsequent coats.
  
  
• Either shake the jar and apply the glaze and crystals together, or apply glaze for one or two coats then shake the jar and apply the last coat containing crystals.
  
  
• Colours are intermixable within the range, and with Chrysanthos Superior Glazes.
  
  
• Crazing may be experienced therefore not recommended for functionalware in contact food and drink.
  
  
• Always refer to the bottle for all hazards and safety instructions.
