The POWERTEC 71189 Insert Levelers (4-Pack) are ideal for lifting and leveling even your heaviest furniture, easily and quickly. With its 3/8 in.-16 thread size, there is a good chance that the shaft of these levels will also fit the existing inserts in older furniture (if they have the corresponding internal measurements). These well-made, attractive levelers adjust from a minimum height of 3/4 in. to a maximum height of 1-3/8 in. or more. Their rugged durability allows for a weight capacity of up to 550 lbs. per leveler or 2200 lbs. per set of 4. The body of the leveler is precision machined of rugged carbon steel, the threaded (tapered) inserts are constructed of zinc for rust-resistant. Footpads feature a PA nylon construction for durability and glide-ability. In addition, PA nylon will not mar your floor surfaces. Attractive chrome plating on the footpads provide a polished look to your furniture. For quick and easy setup, simply pre-drill installation holes into the furniture at preferred site of attachment. The threaded inserts assemble with a 10 mm hex wrench. A 1/2 in. hole is a convenient place to start, but depending on your wood type, larger holes may be required. Can work, just need to be creative

The chair itself is comfortable and nice. Castor is very fluid as well as the hydraulic up-and-down.
The problem is the screw sets for the back of the chair. The individuals that made this chair, and from what I see a majority of the other chairs like it, the bolt settings in the back of the chair are not angled correctly for the lumbar support angles. The intelligent, mathematicians, and engineers that have put this chair together did not calculate that lumbar angle. This means that when you try to put the bolt into the nut, you need to have at least a 25° angle for the bolt to fit properly in which the setting is not created for that process.
In the end I ended up being able to get the bottom bolts into the backing of the chair, the top bolts were not able to get the proper angle to secure the chair. This being said, the chair still works comfortable and functional. It just does not have the top two bolts in the lumbar section.

I had my doubts, yet after a couple months I really love this chair. Its a very good quality. Comfortable and sturdy. It allows for me to lean back too, which is a big plus! It looks really great and I am glad I purchased this chair. If you are looking, then just buy it because it is as good as it looks in the pictures.

Perfect for my studio

Naught this chair for my bedroom home recording studio. Honestly, I bought it mostly for the look. I just thought it would look great with what I was trying to v to do in the studio. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that’s its much more comfortable than I had assumed. It was easy to assemble. The provided assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me less than 20 minutes to build it. The build quality is solid. I’m a tall well build dude that weights more than 210 lbs and it takes my weight very well. Great little chair. I recommend it.

Very happy customer!

This chair is what you are looking for!!! No serious friends, this chair is everything and so incredibly comfortable! I’m so happy with this purchase. The wood accents I believe are actual wood and the PU leather is gorgeous and seriously looks like real leather. The size is perfect for my frame too. I’m a size medium bottom girly and the curve and level of cushion on the seat is so well executed. The rollability of the rollers are fantastic too, not super loud on our wooden floors and a really smooth glide. Im on the search for a rug to go under my desk but man the patience I used to wait to find this chair truly was worth it. A total lesson on patience and biting when you find the right thing. I think it’s pretty sturdy too. But I’ll report back in a few months. At the moment nothing leads me to be suspicious of a less than long life for this chair.
