Noir Jungle - Part II finds the Italian producers Cardace & Perazzini once again demonstrating original and exciting modes of expression, not to mention the extraordinary level of detail in their music. It rounds the Noir Jungle project off with yet more unpredictable diversions of their immersive sound design to paint a vivid and unique landscape at it's most dynamic framework. "Swinging Plans" places the drums at the forefront of the mix, using incredible layers of brushed, rolling, and expressive live recordings to create a truly thrilling experience that speak to the deepest human instinct for rhythmic sound. "Internal N.5" intensifies the techno-influenced energy as it races ahead on a tightly wound rhythm, adding a rich array of sounds into the mix to create a focused and detailed trip, loaded with cinematic tension. "George Is There" runs rich chords through delay and reverb while maintaining a pronounced house groove with perfect and subtle touches of jazz; an invigorating sonic experience aimed at both the mind and the dancefloor. "Below The Earth" is a perfect example of Cardace & Perazzini's exercise of restraint, keeping the mood simmering while still displaying their love for ear-snagging samples in between the folds of the track. "Really Low Mind" sets a thrilling tone straight away with a rolling drum beat taking the lead and subtle tonal sweeps filling in the space around. It's a testament of skills when sequencing drums, not least when it peaks after a tantalizing breakdown. "Night Train" sits easy on the ears but there is a deep level of production at work that reveals itself as the heavily processed samples of instrumentation starts to unfurl halfway through the track. The head-spinning construction of "Sangi" places the emphasis on the low-end frequencies and works subtle threads of synth and sound effects around an exciting and hypnotic techno pulse. Noir Jungle is an ambitious project created by Cardace & Perazzini that works perfectly as a vehicle to introduce their very personal sound. It's a significant addition to the Dissonant catalog, continuing the label's commitment to forward-thinking electronic music.

Short, cute, straight to the point

This is the type of fast pace stories I love to read. I felt nothing felt incomplete. Everything went together. Loved the men loved the best friend and the Fmc. Definitely would recommend this book.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth

I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length.
What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish.
I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.

Good But

A little disjointed at times, at least to me. This was about Lila (omega woman) and Harrison, Wesley and River (alpha males). The main characters were likeable, as was Lila's friend, Wendy. Lila finally wised up and left the alpha she had been with for a couple of years because he was an a-hole, who treated and used her horribly. She knew some, if not all, of the guys from college if I remember correctly. The guys had been looking for an omega to bond with for some time. When Lila saw Harrison again, the other two guys were out on a date with another omega but Harrison refused to go because he didn't like her. He saw Lila again and knew she was the omega they had been searching for. However, it wasn't easy for them to convince Lila of that because of the way her ex-alpha treated her.
The sex was hot. There was one inconsistency. I could almost swear that when Lila first saw Harrison again, she told her best friend, Wendy, that Harrison was the lead for his pack. Then later on when she's spending time with River, she thinks he is the pack's lead. Maybe I read something incorrectly. All in all, a good story.
