At the time, the only option was a Coil on Plug (COP) setup that required a brand-new harness paired with an aftermarket ecu. But now there is an option to increase the spark output of the distributor system which was never available before
From testing, along with customer feedback, the end user can expect a smoother idle, more consistent combustion, and greater throttle response as a result of up to a 25% increase in spark output. This modification is highly recommended for applications implementing forced induction or nitrous injection as it ensures a consistent spark during more demanding operation.
This kit is compatible with most igniters and ECU’s, whether OEM or aftermarket. All necessary adapter plates, harnesses, and mounting hardware is provided. This kit will work with all non-VVTI variants of the vehicles below. Select the kit version that applies to your vehicle.
