Its 75mm gun was excellent at providing fire support but struggled to penetrate German heavy tanks like the Tiger, so troops were bolstered with a Sherman Vc Firefly with its powerful 17 pounder anti tank gun.

This set includes a troop of 2 Sherman V and 1 Sherman Vc 'Firefly' plastic tanks, ideal for Armoured Platoons in games of Bolt Action. The Sherman V's have a medium anti-tank gun with improved HE and the Firefly's 17 pounder is a super-heavy anti-tank gun capable of penetrating all enemy armour.

These vehicles can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, their rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
