ATGBICS HPE Aruba® Compatible 721076-B21 40GBase QSFP+ to 4 SFP+ Active Optical Cable operates over Active Fibre using a wavelength of 850nm over MMF with a cable length of 15m. This product operates within a commercial temperature range. It is suitable for short reach connection between 40G QSFP+ and 10G SFP+ enabled host adapters, switches, and servers in 40G interconnecting networking applications and provides a cost-efficient way to connect hardware within close proximity racks. This breakout cable connects to 1 x 40G QSFP+ port on one end and to 4 x 10G SFP+ ports on the other end.

Nice and Simple - but big

Nice product, very simple in reality. All screws together. Shelves are probably 12inches high - higher than I wanted so I won't be using it after all - but that is my fault for not realizing how vertically spaced the shelves would be. The unit takes up a lot of vertical wall space. My only dislike (hence the -1 rating) is the large stamped letters on every wall mounting plate. The letters don't appear to mean anything, and are very large and upraised - to me they detract from the overall appearance of the unit. The letters are not possible to get rid of without a grinder or significant file-work and repainting everything (not worth the significant effort that would entail).
