"This isn't really the record that I was planning to make. But loss and death kept happening in real-time, and these songs became my therapeutic arsenal of tools for making sense of it all."Recorded over a single month in Los Angeles by GRAMMY® Award-winner John Congleton (who previously engineered and produced 2012's acclaimed THEATRE IS EVIL), the album was entirely crowd-funded, this time by 12,000 patrons using Palmer's community hub at patreon.Palmer's often-overlooked skills as a pianist mark the LP with a stark but grand sonic approach. The album's 10 songs feature only a few extra overdubs provided by key associates, including Congleton, Palmer's friend and frequent collaborator Jason Webley, Montreal-based programmer/keyboardist Max Henry and veteran drummer Joey Waronker. Longtime collaborator Jherek Bischoff also added touches of prepared piano and upright bass; he also arranged 10 short orchestral instrumentals based on the motifs of the songs.Somber yet exultant, the album presents more dimensions to Palmer's already voluminous talent, once again confirming her as a master songwriter at the height of considerable power. Look no further.

After searching through about four different vocab books, I finally found one I can truly vouch for: Robert's Extremely Nerdy Guide to Digital SAT Vocabulary.
Robert is actually my daughter’s SAT tutor and recommended this book. At the time, my daughter had almost given up on the vocab portion of the SAT—there were only 7 weeks left before her test date (we’re now down to just 2 ½ weeks). Honestly, what can you achieve in that short time? Still, I decided to buy it—what did we have to lose?
Because I’d already gone through so many SAT vocab books, I knew a good one when I saw it. Just flipping through the first few pages convinced me this was the right fit, and my daughter immediately got to work. The book starts with 6 sections on word roots, then moves into 26 sections of similar-meaning words. Each chapter includes a matching activity (which my daughter finds essential for retention) and ends with SAT-style practice questions.
Since using this book, she spends much more time memorizing and testing words. I only wish we had discovered it earlier so she could have had more time to digest and apply what she’s learning. Before this, she was getting about 50% of vocab questions right on a good day; now, after just over a month with this book, she’s averaging 80–90%.
As a side note, I’m not a native English speaker, and I’ve also learned so many words by reviewing her answers. Almost every word I’ve come across in the past and thought, “I should look this up someday” seems to be in this book—a testament to why the SAT brought vocabulary back for the digital test.
This book has served my family extremely well, and I plan to start my youngest child on it earlier. Get this book, and start early.

Best SAT vocab book you can find!!!
Robert has always been a trusted author in the field of SAT, but I can’t express how helpful this book is for the test and for college. I can’t EXPRESS how much this book helped me through 4 years of writing in college!!! For any type of learner at any level, this book provides the much needed help by grouping words together for maximum learning!!! Highly recommend!!! Buying another one for a family member!!!

Great tool for SAT vocab
I usually don't write reviews but this book has impressed me so much that I have to write one! I would like to thank the author for creating such a helpful book for learning SAT vocab words. Grouping the words together, writing sentences for each word, and exercises to practice them are all awesome ways for remembering vocab.
