DRUMS & WIRES has been mixed for 5.1 Surround Sound from the original studio masters by Steven Wilson with input from Andy Partridge and is fully approved by XTC. CD features a completely new stereo album mix by Steven Wilson plus six additional singles and non-album tracks. The DVD-A features a 5.1 LPCM Surround mix in 24bit/96khz mixed from the original multi-track tapes. The DVD-A also features the new stereo album mix in 24bit/96khz LPCM audio, the original stereo album mix in 24bit/96khz LPCM audio and seven additional Hi-Res stereo tracks.
