Just Kidding was intended to relate the little funnies that babies and kids do as well as their pets. This book makes kids aware of their surroundings and to hopefully make them think about exactly what is going on around them, why things happen, and what causes these happenings.

About the Author

Nancy Jurkovic was born the middle child of seven kids, so there was always a little one around. Jurkovic was always babysitting. Her poems are about little ones and for little ones. Some are her observations of what they do, and some were meant for them to observe what is happening around them.

She also makes her own personalized greeting cards, birthday, anniversary, graduation, or whatever the occasion. Jurkovic lives in the small town of Cortland, Ohio. A lot of inspiration came from her one grandson, James, two bonus grandkids, Catelyn and Braylen, and daughters Jaquie and Jessica. She writes a poem to fit the person and event.

She spent her fifty-year working career in banking as manager and personal banker. She went to several local schools teaching different banking skills through Junior Achievement and other publications she found to offer.

Jurkovic loves planting flowers and making her own sauces with homegrown everything. She loves watching her hummingbirds, and feeding and sheltering her feral cats. She sews, knits, crochets, loves to cook and fish Lake Erie.
