Dans The Crew, les joueurs incarnent les membres d’un équipage spatial en voyage vers une mystérieuse planète. Mais le périple s’annonce épique, car il faudra accomplir 50 missions de plus en plus périlleuses avant de pouvoir atteindre la destination. Pour remporter une mission dans The Crew, chaque joueur doit accomplir les tâches qui lui sont assignées. A chaque tour de jeu, les joueurs jouent une unique carte de leur main pour former un pli. Le joueur qui veut accomplir sa tâche doit non seulement remporter le pli, mais aussi s’assurer que la carte correspondant à la tâche soit présente dans le pli !

100 % coopération !
The Crew est un jeu 100 % coopératif dans lequel les joueurs doivent se permettre les uns les autres de remporter les plis qui sont nécessaires à leur victoire globale. C’est subtil… et incroyablement immersif. Mais attention : si la tâche assignée à un joueur est effectuée par erreur par autre joueur, la partie est aussitôt perdue !

Chaque joueur doit respecter le silence du vide spatial. Il sera parfois possible de communiquer au cours de la partie, mais uniquement pour donner des informations très limitées sur ses possibilités de jeu. Il faudra interpréter chaque information fournie par les équipiers pour ne pas jouer la mauvaise carte au mauvais moment.

Une énorme durée de vie !
Les cinquante missions invitent à une vaste épopée spatiale de difficulté croissante qui tient en haleine de très longues heures. Les parties de s’enchainent toujours avec passion : intenses et nerveuses, elles se vivent en sessions qui durent entre 5 et 20 minutes. Chaque échec appelle une nouvelle tentative, chaque succès invite à optimiser davantage ses prochains tours de jeu.
