EXBOX.MD is a Dante / MADI converter linking Audinate’s audio networking technology Dante and MADI (AES10). Equipped with three MADI ports and four network ports it offers straight-forward conversion of 64 audio channels between MADI and Dante.

The handy size of the popular EXBOX series (1/3 of 19’’), combined with the rock-solid housing and redundant power supplies, makes the EXBOX.MD a perfect connectivity tool for touring live shows, OB vans as well as studio applications.

OVERVIEW
LEDs at the front panel inform about clocking, sample rate, device state and power supply at a glance.

AUDIO STREAMING
Up to 32 streams with a total number of 64 audio channels are supported. The device also features the latest Dante firmware with activated AES67 support.

ALL-ROUND FUNCTIONALITY
EXBOX.MD offers highest flexibility as it provides three MADI ports of different interface types:

- optical SC (single-mode or multi-mode)
- coaxial (BNC)
- SFP

The Small Form Factor Pluggable cage can be fitted with any SFP module suitable for the particular application.

FastSRC™
The FastSRC™ is a low latency sample rate converter, switchable for the Dante I/O, and ensures seamless exchange between MADI and Dante I/O when both sources are not synchronised.

EARS™
Enhanced Automatic Redundancy Switching™ is a system to prevent interruption of the output signal. It uses either the proven BLDS™ technology or pilot tone triggering. A logic monitors the condition of the trigger signal on the audio network or the MADI inputs. In case of a failure it switches automatically to the defined backup input (audio network or MADI).

BUILT-IN-SWITCH
Four network ports are connected to an internal switch and give the opportunity to use Dante’s redundancy mode (Primary <> Secondary), while more EXBOX.MDs or other Dante devices can be connected in switched mode directly to increase the number of channels.

REMOTE CONTROL
EXBOX.MD can be controlled by Audinate‘s remote software 'Dante Controller‘ and is 'Dante Domain Manager‘ ready. Device functions, such as the channel based routing matrix, FastSRC™ or EARS™ are accessible via globcon and a browser UI.

SAFE OPERATION
The device can be powered by up to two external power-supplies as well as PoE (Power over Ethernet).

RACK READY
Each EXBOX can be mounted into a standard 19’’-rack by using the optional kit BOXMOUNT.XL. Up to three devices may fit side-by-side within 1 RU. (DOAPA0886)

Take Tim Ross' hand and let him lead you through the acceptance and vulnerability of what it means to be a disciple. Your Blueprint for Building Smarter AI!
Format: Paperback
If you're building AI and sometimes feel a bit lost, "LLM Design Patterns" by Ken Huang is like finding the secret map you've been searching for. Ken Huang, who clearly knows his stuff (he's a renowned AI expert and works with big names like OWASP and NIST), writes in a way that just clicks, without getting bogged down in super-dense tech talk. The author even acknowledges using AI to make the language clearer for a smooth reading experience! This book covers everything you need, from getting your data squeaky clean to making AI agents that can actually think and act autonomously. For me, the parts on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and advanced ways to 'talk' to your AI (prompting) were particularly eye-opening and immediately useful for my projects. Plus, it has handy code snippets that really help you grasp the ideas. While they're not ready for direct production copy-pasting, they illustrate the concepts perfectly for learning. It's not for absolute beginners – you'll want some basic Python and machine learning smarts to get the most out of it – but the effort is totally worth it. It even delves into making sure your AI is fair and unbiased, which was a real lightbulb moment for me. This book is crammed with actionable advice; it's less about abstract theory and more about real-world solutions you can actually use. If you're serious about building impressive AI systems professionally, this is a must-read.

Title: Really Good Book for Learning LLMs
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I picked up this book after struggling with LLM implementation at work. Ken Huang explains things clearly without too much technical jargon. The book covers everything from data preparation to building AI agents. I especially liked the chapters on RAG and prompting techniques - they helped me improve my current projects. The code examples actually work, which is nice. Some parts are pretty advanced, so you need basic Python knowledge. I had to read a few chapters twice to fully get it. The fairness and bias detection section was eye-opening. Good practical advice throughout. Not just theory - real solutions you can use. Worth the money if you're serious about LLM development. Recommended for anyone building AI systems professionally.
