A self-taught piano player from Fort Worth, the artist released his second LP, Andy Pickett, with longtime friend and White Denim frontman James Petralli and bassist Steve Terebecky. The talented trio played on and produced Pickett's self-titled release in Austin, working with four different drummers including Fort Worth's own Grammy award winner Jordan Ricahrdson (Ben Harper & the Relentless 7, White Denim, Son of Stan). With lush design and voluptuous bass, Pickett's album belies the fact that he's only been writing music for half a decade, since he was 41.
