If man’s relationship with God became void of love, it turns into chatter and nonsense. All the religious practices would turn into obligations and rituals. The concept of Christian worship surpasses the dry rigid obligations and aims to engage God and man in the realm of the spirit. The momentum is love and love only. When the Christian reaches to worshiping with such attitude, we describe him as being in a metaphysical state. He enters into a living and active relationship with God. His feelings and senses become what were described by the bride of the Song of Songs regarding her groom: “I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste”.
The issue of spiritual practices, or what is also called the spiritual means, is the goal of this book. It addresses this vital issue that concerns the believer.
