No matter where the name Montrose came from, Holmes-Walton thoroughly embraced the mountain rose theme, laying out the streets in the fanciful pattern of a rose with the planned town center at the heart of the flower. The construction of the 210 freeway in the 1960s pruned off the top of the rose, but the remaining curved roads still confuse drivers today. My dog loves this ball! I keep it in our bedroom for her to play with in the mornings while we get ready for work. My pup will play (kinda roughly) by herself and fling the ball using her bed and the ball bounces off whatever it hits, which is why I love this ball so much. Often it hits our furniture or the walls and this leaves no mark on the furniture and she’s content playing with it. So it’s a win win for us.
