The Colas Rail Class 37 fleet is full of interesting oddballs but none come close to 37116, which made its triumphant return to the main line in late 2015 after being acquired from a preservation career at the Chinnor & Princes Risborough in January 2014. While the locomotive retained its unique flush rebuilt noses, replacement welded long range fuel tank and revised bodysides from its 1990s Transrail rebuild, its new owner also specified toughened windscreens, all details the Accurascale model accurately depicts. It was initially outshopped from HNRC's workshops at Barrow Hill in BR blue, but quickly repainted into the striking Colas livery at the start of 2016. Since then it has been one of the most reliable members of the fleet, primarily working Network Rail test trains all over the country.
