Sapele, one of the most popular tonewoods in the Ibanez acoustic lineup, is incredibly similar to mahogany both sonically and visually. The Ibanez AEGB24E has an under-saddle pickup that runs into Ibanez’s AEQ-2T preamp. This preamp has a volume knob with bass and treble controls for crafting the perfect plugged-in sound. The simple controls make it easy to dial in the perfect tone.  Simply drop your 9-volt battery into the control plate on the upper bout, and you’re ready to go.
