Tone/Characteristics
The now official Billy Zoom’Tron is similar in tone to the MagnaTron, but with a beefier, fuller-bodied tone. The dual-coils provide a hint of compression to the high-end with no 60-cycle hum. Pickups with cylinder magnets add clarity to the low end or wound strings.

DC Resistance is not entirely an indicator of true pickup output, although it can be helpful.
