This SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver supports 1GB Ethernet and 1/2 GB Fibre Channel interfaces, providing flexibility to meet various network requirements. With its compact size, the Cisco CWDM-SFP-1590 can be easily installed into compatible switches or routers without occupying excessive space.
Equipped with advanced Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing technology (CWDM), this module enables multiple optical signals to be transmitted simultaneously on different wavelengths over a single fiber strand.
