I think that general attribution for it would be Kyo Kinko, however I hope that if sent NBTHK might give it a better one. Possibly Ichinomiya School? Please let me know the verdict If you decide to buy it and send it for NBTHK Shinsa. Made of great quality dark black shakudo with nanako ground.

Made of great quality dark black shakudo with nanako ground. Decorated with gold iroe. 

This kozuka makes a real impression in original size. The difference in size of adult horses and young ones is stunning. At first glance big ones appear small and then we see the young ones which are almost hard to spot. Especially the one on the left. 

Made in late edo period.

Size: 97 mm x 14 mm

A solution that I came up with was to take a plastic putty knife and push down inside the card pockets and stretch the material out, this helped a bunch! One thing I really like, the material is not as slick as a leather wallet, so if a person has trouble with their wallet sliding out of their pocket, I think this one would be less likely to do that.
