Roland MKS-30 Planet-S 80's Polyphonic Synthesiser 2U Rack Mount 240V *Serviced*

The MKS-30 is often refered to as a MIDI rack mount version of the JX3P. Interestingly, the circuits are a bit different, and unlike the JX3P, the MKS-30 uses the same "Voice Chips" as the Juno-106!

The MKS-30 is a 2U rack mount, analogue synthesiser with two DCO's per voice, six voice polyphony, it responds to velocity, and has 64 internal memory patches. The typical assortment of analogue filter, envelope, LFO and oscillator sections are here with easy and straight-forward programming. It can be controlled by the PG-200 programmer (not included in sale) for easier hands-on tweaking.

Condition:

  • This is a used unit.

  • Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some rack rash, nicks, scratches and scuffs. One rack ear is chipped. A previous owner has engraved their name on the back. There is nothing major and overall it is still a nice synth!

  • All switches, sliders and controls function as they should.

  • This unit has some patches saved onto it from a previous owner.

  • This MKS-30 has recently come from a service. This included but is not limited to:

    • Deep clean inside and out.

    • All switches have been thoroughly cleaned.

    • Any functional issues were addressed. Any faulty components have been replaced.

    • The memory battery has been replaced.

    • The "Voice Chips" / Roland 80017A have been refurbished. There is plenty of information about this online. We have been working on this technique for many years and have a great success rate with it.

  • Please be aware this unit is 240V. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia and New Zealand!

  • If you purchase from outside Australia you will need a step-up transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.

  • This beauty sounds great and is ready to go at home or in the studio!

  • This MKS-30 uses a standard IEC cable to power on. This cable is not included in the sale.

  • This sale is for the MKS-30 only.

Insightful, Honest, and So Needed
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Debra has a beautiful way of speaking truth with both clarity and compassion. Every book I’ve read or listened to by her has been incredibly practical, insightful, and genuinely life-impacting for me, and People Skills is already proving to be the same. Reading (or listening) to Debra's books feels like sitting down with both a skilled counselor and a trusted friend. She doesn’t just offer theory, she offers tools. Honest, helpful, and immediately applicable. One of the ideas that really stood out to me is that relationships don’t run on intentions. They run on skills. We can mean well and still miss the mark. That reminder is both humbling and hopeful. This book challenges you to stop defending your intentions and start owning your impact. Then equips you with the skills to love better, communicate clearly, and strengthen the relationships that matter most. If you care about growing healthier, stronger relationships, this book is a gift. I’m already recommending it to friends, and it's one I know I’ll revisit.

In a world dominated by screens and surface-level interactions, this book is a much-needed wake-up call that reminds us: connection is not automatic—it’s cultivated. What makes this book stand out is its balance of spiritual wisdom and psychological insight. Fileta masterfully weaves together biblical truth with clinical expertise, offering 31 actionable skills that are not only easy to understand but immediately applicable. From learning how to truly listen, to navigating conflict with grace, to understanding attachment styles, each chapter feels like a personal coaching session designed to elevate your relational intelligence. This isn’t just theory—it’s transformation. Whether you’re a leader, pastor, entrepreneur, or simply someone who wants to love people better, this book equips you with the tools to “own your impact” and become more intentional in every interaction. The emphasis on empathy, communication, and emotional awareness is both refreshing and necessary. One of the most powerful aspects of this book is its heart. It’s not just about improving relationships for success—it’s about becoming a vessel of God’s love in how you engage with others. That perspective shifts everything. If you’re serious about growing in your relationships—personally, professionally, or spiritually—this book is a must-read. It will challenge you, sharpen you, and ultimately help you become a more effective and compassionate communicator.

Love Is Not Enough. Skill Makes It Work.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I genuinely loved this book. Debra’s core idea is simple but powerful: most relational problems are not caused by a lack of love, but by a lack of skill. That shift in perspective changes everything. It moves the conversation from “Do I care?” to “Am I communicating care in a healthy, effective way?” What I appreciated most is how practical the book is. It tackles real-life issues like triggers, communication, emotional intelligence, boundaries, and vulnerability, and turns them into skills you can actually practice. The emphasis on personal ownership was especially impactful for me. Instead of focusing on fixing other people, it invites you to ask, “What’s my role?” That question alone can transform a relationship. This is not a dense academic read. It is accessible, actionable, and deeply helpful. Whether you are married, dating, leading, or simply trying to grow, there is something here for you. If you want stronger relationships and greater emotional maturity, this book is well worth your time.

Debra Fileta once again offers practical, relatable insight into human nature. This book looks at how we communicate and connect with others in today’s increasingly digital world, where face-to-face connection is increasingly rare but so necessary.
