Pale gold with a luminous clarity, it opens with a vivid and expressive nose: fresh grapefruit, white currant, lemon verbena, and the signature flinty, gunsmoke minerality that defines great Sancerre. On the palate, it is taut and precise — bright, focused acidity, a lean and elegant mid-palate, and a long, saline finish with a whisper of wild herb and chalk.
