Mid-century entertaining never looked more polished. This set of six white majolica oyster plates by Bordallo Pinheiro of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal features six sculpted oyster wells radiating around a central starfish, finished in a luminous white glaze that instantly elevates a table.

Designed for oysters, but far too charming to limit there — use them for condiments, hors d’oeuvres, garnishes, sweets, or even as individual butter or sauce plates. They also mount beautifully on the wall, framing a platter, mirror, or artwork with subtle coastal glamour. Each is impressed with the BP monogram and PORTUGAL mark.

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition, with light wear consistent with age; no damage noted.

Materials: Earthenware with Majolica Glaze

Color/Finish: Creamy White Glaze
Care: Hand-wash only. Dishwasher use may cause crazing and dull the glaze.
