Fitment Notes

  • Always match vehicle details before ordering. Confirm exact fitment using VIN, engine code, or chassis number if multiple variants exist.
  • JJ514 is for the later Essex V6 fitted with the aluminium tappet (valve) cover.
  • For the earlier Essex V6 fitted with the steel valve cover, use part number JH401 instead.
  • Inspect the tappet cover material before ordering to confirm the correct gasket.

Important: Engine components such as bearings, pistons, rings, valves, gaskets, and related parts must be installed only by a qualified, VAT-registered workshop using proper measuring and torque equipment. Ensure crankshaft journals are measured and polished, oil clearances verified, and assembly lube applied. Failures due to oil starvation, contamination, incorrect sizing, or improper torque are not manufacturing defects and are not covered under warranty. Always replace engine oil, filters, and gaskets during installation.

Engine Parts Return Policy Warning

Returns Policy Notice: Engine internal components (including bearings, pistons, rings, gaskets, valves, etc.) are non-returnable once the sealed packaging has been opened. Returns are only accepted if the incorrect part was supplied and the item remains sealed, unused, and in original condition. Opened, fitted, dirty, or marked parts cannot be resold and are not eligible for refund or exchange. Please verify engine code, bore/size, and bearing grade before opening any packaging.

Installation / Use / Maintenance Tips

  • Confirm whether the engine has the aluminium or steel tappet cover before fitting; the wrong gasket will leak.
  • Clean both mating surfaces thoroughly and remove all traces of the old gasket and sealant.
  • Inspect the sump pan flange for distortion and straighten if needed before refitting.
  • Torque sump bolts evenly in a cross pattern to the manufacturer's specification.
  • Refill with fresh engine oil and check for leaks after the first heat cycle.

wow, ahead of the rest, easy to use
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
wow, i have used a lot of products for my cloudy headlight lens. this was the easiest and the best so far. on a dry clean headlight, open the foil envelope and get the wipe out, wipe the cloudy headlight and it really gets the job done, a yellow stain builds up on the wipe. one wipe for each headlight. wipe dry with microfiber, then spray the sealant and let it sit, just wipe any excess run off on the car body. poof, done! looks good. says it can last up to 18 months. not sure about that, but i will take what i have now. go nu finish, another solid product.

Sprayer broke
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
Spray bottle broke half way through the 2nd light. Made do with dumping the liquid on a paper towel and wiping it on, but can already see spots on it

The stuff works.
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
This stuff works great, very easy to use and reasonably priced. It took headlights from that yellow haze where you can’t see the bulb inside you know what I mean to looking like a new light I couldn’t believe it worked that well with no sanding at all. just use the wipe to wipe the lens for a minute or two and it’ll clean all the oxidation off. Let it dry for a few minutes and then spray the ceramic coating on it and you’re done make sure and let the coating dry for a few hours before you touch it.

Don't get this for the protective spray.
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
The protectant spray is terrible. It is a pain to put on and streaks and runs. The instructions don't really help get decent results.
