Returned one of these because the wine sealer did not work. It wouldn't hold a vacuum. Here's the thing. We drink a fair amount of wine around here so this thing gets used a lot. I've never replaced the batteries. It's not even remotely slowing down. It just keeps popping out corks and it's been months. Considering what this opener cost I don't see how you can go wrong with this purchase.
