As the core of any reverse osmosis system, the membrane is responsible for the heavy lifting — rejecting dissolved solids, contaminants, and impurities at the molecular level to produce clean, purified water. Its push-in with O-ring connection makes replacement straightforward, and the membrane should be replaced every 24 months under normal use conditions to ensure your system continues to perform at its rated capacity.
